Case Land Status
(1) A term used to indicate the particular status of lands included within a case, such as authorized, rejected, relinquished, withdrawn. (A case may include more than one status relative to a particular piece of land included within the case land description.) For example, a case may include a land description for lands which were rejected (for which the case land status would be "rejected") and a land description for lands which were authorized (for which the case land status would be "authorized"). (2) Identifies past and present status of each land description within a case in relation to surface, subsurface, or mineral ownership information, withdrawals, classifications and segregations.
