Bureau of Land Management Eastern States oversees 139 coal leases under the Eastern States State Office. Of the lease records managed by the Eastern States, 4.31% are authorized, 3.59% are pending, and 89.20% are closed. Oversite of these federal lands is divided into BLM Field Offices—Jackson Field Office and Milwaukee Field Office.
